Project scope

The expertise covers the verification of the completeness and correctness of data compliance with regulatory requirements, safety standards, and good international practice of the following parts of the work project:

• Part “Constructive”
• Part “KIP and A / SKU”
• Safety Analysis Report Part
• Software Assurance Part

Objectives and results

The purpose of the expertise is to verify the completeness and correctness of selected parts of the work project “Neutron flow control equipment AKNP-39R for the 5th unit of the Kozloduy NPP” and the compliance of the data with the regulatory requirements, safety standards, and good international practice.

As a result of the expertise, an assessment of:

• Compliance of the project and the results of the performed analysis with the regulatory requirements and safety standards;
• Assessment of the acceptability of the conclusions drawn.
