Kozloduy NPP – Construction of the system for measuring the volumetric concentration of gases in the hermozone of Units 5 and 6.

The purpose of the system for measuring the volumetric concentration of gases in the hermozone of Units 5 and 6 is to determine the concentration of hydrogen and steam, as well as to measure oxygen and carbon monoxide in the hermozone of Units 5 and 6 during severe accidents. After initialization, the system automatically performs sampling and analysis of the samples for moisture and hydrogen content and returns the analyzed samples to the hermetic volume. GCR AD in a team with Framatome GmbH won the competition for the design of the system equipment, its production, delivery and commissioning.

• Production of the necessary equipment;
• Delivery of the equipment;
• Installation of the equipment;
• Tests and commissioning.

Results

So far, the equipment has been manufactured and delivered to the Kozloduy NPP site. In 2021 it will be installed and put into operation.
