Out-of-warranty service of a simulator with full range of simulation and model of the main control room(MCR) of Kozloduy NPP block 6. The main goal of the project is to support the current maintenance and operation of the simulator with a full range of simulation and layout of MCR of Kozloduy NPP with unit 6 (FSS-1000).

Scope of the project

• Diagnosis of software problems;
• Elimination of discrepancies and defects in the simulation software;
• Making a change in the configuration of FSS-1000 at the request of the employer;
• Providing assistance in updating the configuration of the information (control-information) systems compared to those of the control room;
• Issuance of recommendations for development of FSS-1000 or for elimination of a defect / discrepancy beyond the scope of the assignment;
• Updating if necessary the operational documentation;
• Participation of the Contractor’s specialists in activities on the site of the employer to provide assistance in resolving current issues in the operation and maintenance of FSS-1000.

Results

GCR AD performs a out-of-warranty subscription service from the beginning of 2018 onwards -which has been renewed on an annual basis 3 times. As a result of the activities, the trouble-free maintenance and operation of the simulator with full range of simulation and model of the MCR of Kozloduy NPP with unit 6 (FSS-1000) is guaranteed, which in turn is a guarantee for the good training of the operating personnel of the nuclear power plant.
